The Grief & Healing Circle

“It is healing simply to be heard, to be met, to be seen, to be known.” — Jon Kabat-Zinn

Grief touches us all, yet no two journeys are the same. Whether you are grieving the loss of a loved one, a relationship, your health, a dream, or a chapter of life, you deserve a space where your grief is welcomed exactly as it is.

The Grief & Healing Circle is a circle of belonging—a place where grief is welcomed, stories are witnessed, and hearts are gently held in the company of others. Here, you don’t have to carry your grief alone. You belong, exactly as you are.

There is no right or wrong way to grieve—only your way.

Together we create a compassionate space for sharing, listening, and simply being present with one another. We gather around a reflective question and hold space for each other’s stories without judgment, advice, fixing, or expectations. Sometimes healing begins not because someone has the answers, but because someone is willing to truly listen.

“A deep sense of love and belonging is an irreducible need of all people.” — Brené Brown

This circle is not about finding solutions or moving through grief more quickly. It is about honoring your experience, witnessing one another’s grief, and discovering that we do not have to carry it alone.

We gather in the peaceful garden surrounding the Aruba Peace Labyrinth at Alto Vista—a place that has been deeply meaningful in my own grief journey and continues to offer a sense of grounding, peace, and connection with nature.

Each gathering includes time for reflection, sharing, silence, and connection. We end with tea and something sweet, allowing ourselves to be gently nourished in body, heart, and spirit.

For those who wish to better understand grief and loss, I also offer the three-week program Understanding Grief & Loss. While the program provides education and practical insights, the Grief & Healing Circle is simply a place to be—to share your heart and to be witnessed with compassion.

We meet on the first Thursday of each month

5:30 – 7:00 PM

  • August 6
  • September 3
  • October 1
  • November 5
  • December 3

Whether you come to share, to listen, to sit quietly, or simply to be among others who understand, you are warmly welcome.

I would be honored to welcome you into the circle.

With love,

Gea Sougé
