About Me

My name is Gea — it means “Goddess of the Earth,” and I do my best to live in a grounded, compassionate way.

I was born and raised in the Netherlands, and for the past 35 years I’ve called Aruba home. I’ve been married just as long, and I’m the grateful mother of an extraordinary daughter — the greatest miracle in my life.

For much of my life, I believed working hard was the answer to everything. But when I longed for a second child and that dream didn’t come true, I buried my grief in busyness. Eventually, I lost touch with my joy, my relationships — and with myself. The moment I realized I couldn’t even hear my daughter when she told me “Mamma, you are beautiful” became a turning point.

Since then, I’ve been on a journey back to presence, meaning, and balance. That journey informs everything I offer as a coach.

Today, I support people in reconnecting with their inner wisdom and creating lives that feel more free, joyful, and aligned. I walk with you in nature, help you slow down, and discover what really matters to you — whether that’s more time, play, purpose, or less stress and pressure.

I’m also a certified Grief Educator. The loss of my sisters, mother, and father has taught me that there is no right or wrong way to do grief, only your way.  Grief Educators understand that grief must be witnessed. It is a deep expression of love — and a teacher in its own right. I hold space for people who are navigating loss of a loved one, loss of identity or changes they didn’t want, and I walk with them gently, without rushing their grief process.

Whether you’re longing for more balance, creativity, connection, or healing — you don’t have to figure it out alone. There is a quieter, wiser part of you that already knows the way. I’d love to help you listen to it.
